[Tweaky Tuned] Presents : The E275 & D350 Kia Forte Pack

This release was sparked by a couple of Forza Motorsports 3 forum moderators ! Both tunes were tweaked and finished by Forza tuning legend Dig it909. Were proud of what the Digman has accomplished with the Kia. On the painting side of things, TerribleWones OGIO design is stunning in game and Dig it909 pulled through with a nice Apexi Intake livery.

The neat thing here is that both builds share the same exterior parts so the driver can mix and match the paints if he prefers one over the other. We were also happy to support T10 and the most recent DLC buy releasing impressive paints and tunes for the Kia. Its all in the Tweaky Tuned storefront and the first 100 tunes are free !!

Greetings ! For the month of August we at Tweaky Tuned wanted to give to the Forza community! We appreciate all the support from the Tuners Marketplace and fans of the garage. It really makes being part of a garage in Forza Motorsports 3 enjoyable for us.

We wanted to get back to our roots. Some of you from Forza Motorsports 2 might remember we started off with lots of Hondas being released under the Tweaky banner. We just love some Vtec ! lol ! And Tweaky Tuneds first release was the 2004 Honda Civic Type R with and HLC at Sebring Short.

We’ve enjoyed the C425 Mugen Civic R represented in this release. Dig it909 gave the build and tune quite a bit of TLC so Honda enthusiast would have a solid car that represented the Honda badge well.

She is a screamer with over 300 ponies under the hood, and easily gets the heart pumping when putting the car through her pace.

The paint has been complete for quite sometime and is the handy work of Forza Splat Legend C4NNON FODDER. Since Forza 2 Ive always admired C4NNONS work, and put him right up at the top as one of Forzas most original and creative designers/painters in the world of Forza.

So please swing by the Tweaky Tuned storefront and grab the tune, its on the house and free. The paint/design is located in jezza1929 storefront. Just select the Tweaky Tuned friends or favorites and scroll down to jezza.

Update #31 @ Nurburgring GP Short

Recently HLR Phoenix sent me over this Mazda 2 in F200 class. I did’nt think much of it, and I also did’nt think much of FWD … until now. There has’nt been a single track the Mazda 2 has not totally surprised me on.

I even took this little gem out on Road America, a track one would think this car has no business on. After a 5 lap run I was shocked that I was sitting at #339. Dig it909 reported in today that he gave the Mazda 2 a caning at Nurburgring GP Full and left the circuit sitting at #145 on the leaderboards.
And that pretty much sums up this Tweaky Tuned Mazdaspeed Mazda 2 … F200 FWD Fury !

Laptime Examples – Driver: HLR Phoenix
Camino Viejo Short Reverse, 50.263 rank #86
Ladera Mini Reverse, 27.818 rank #137

After the stunning Playstation 2 GT4 Lamborghini Oreca Gallardo we have returned with a proper follow up. TerribleWone started tuning this car with one goal in mind, to create a car that would crush the mighty Ferrari F355C and Porsche GT3 RS that have been dominating the A600 RWD lobbies.

With the aim to avoid the usual RWD LB cars, the Porsche 996 was selected. After a full three months of development the Flying Lizard 996 is now complete. The combination of a fire breathing boxer six pushing out 480hp in a car with little drag results in unwieldy speed. With so much power on tap in a rear engine car it took both Dig it909 and TerribleWone to get this beast under control. The resultant is a car with unparalleled speed, and handling via telepathy.

Next time you are in the Forza Motorsports 3 RWD lobbies break out the Porsche 996 and surprise those pesky F355’s, they wont know what hit (beat) them.

Setup Used:
As with all our A600 cars we drive them they way they are meant to be driven, with no driver aids. We are also proud to announce that this is our first release to have been tuned with a Fanatec 911 wheel w/CS pedals. Countless laps were also put in using both the Microsoft wheel, Microsoft controller, and different combinations of driver aids. For example ceasarschariot loves the car with TCS and ABS on.

Tracks:
The 996 GT3 really comes into its own on the longer “real world” tracks where the engine can really make use of its power. The car is especially fast at Cat GP, Ring GP, Road America, Road Atlanta, Mugello and Sunset Full. It is also suspected to be capable of a seriously quick Ring lap time.

Here are some times posted from just lobby racing!
Road America – 2:09.8
Sunset Full – 1:29.5
Catalunya GP – 1:51.8
Nurburgring GP – 2:00.0

Get yours today in the Forza Motorsports 3 Tweaky Tuned Storefront !

B500 – Rhys Millen Racing 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STi

Its no secret in the world of Forza Motorsports 3 the Subaru WRX Sti is a very deadly weapon, but the Dig man has taken it a step further with the Tweaky Tuned and Paint Ugly Collab releasing the RMR Subaru WRX STi. Without going into detail, this is the sort of car that wins races, sets personal best, and lands you a respectable time on the Forza 3 leaderboards.

Marty VDubz commented: ,” Tune and paint are great. The tune is so grippy and yet has the speed, the only thing that showed to me was when it hit the floor coming round a corner, but knowing my driving it was mainly me taking the corner to fast. Was close to beating my PB around Camino until i broke to late. Paint is simple yet fantasic. There is some real depth in it that i had a hard time showing.”

TfR weman43 commented: Picked this one up today and it’s a great car – yet again ! Well done, I only had time for a very quick run at Ladera Mini and even I managed a PB sub 25 for LB #58 on a track I don’t really like. The car handles the turns and changes in direction really well, excellent grip levels and performance – with a lovely engine note to match. Really good job on this one. I’ll be spending alot of time in this car in the near future.

Forza Motorsports 3 TfR Guru Full Review:

Ok the sales thread gave no clear indication of what type of tracks this car specialises in so with knowledge of my other tweaky cars I go for a mix of power short tracks and more technical shorter tracks. My test tracks are therefore: Suzuka east, Iberian full, Ladera full and Ladera short.

First up was Suzuka east. This has become one of my favourite tracks over the game and I really love throwing the car through the s bends. The car shoots off I decide that a 9lap stint is sufficient to get a good feel for the car and how it will handle for me. The car is very planted but will step out if the power is applied to early through the corner. There is a tad of oversteer on the tricky last turn but I manage to adapt my line to eradicate this. The end result is a 52.594 not a Pb but good for around 700th on the boards. I’m a little disappointed by this as it felt a lot faster but still a good start and I’m impressed by the car.

Next up is Iberian full. One of my average tracks that when I hook it up I’m good round but when it goes wrong I’m at the back like Hispania. The car is right on the line of too much grip but for me it feels balanced and suiting my style very well. The end time is a 54.099 a PB but only good enough for 1,181st on the boards. Again I’m a bit disappointed the car feels very quick yet so far my laps aren’t showing it.

However after pondering this I realise these are the 2 power tracks of my choice and maybe the car is better at the technical ones.

Moving on to one of my favourite tracks Ladera full. The car is very smooth here and I beat my Pb after just 3 laps. From then on it’s a case of building on what I can and nailing a lap. I do notice that the oversteer is back in the last turn and this loses me a couple tenths of a second. I finish with a lap of 50.443 which places me a very good 182nd on the boards. This is more like it the car works very well here and feels great taking the bends smoothly and efficiently.

My final track therefore is Ladera short. Daunting for me is the fact that my Pb here is already 142nd and held by the very impressive SW2 Impreza. I set off and instantly feel the car working for me. The grip generated is superb and the front of the car is turning incredibly well on the tight tricky middle section. Little hints of oversteer again but nothing to cause me too much worry. My final lap is a 31.153 is again a Pb placing me 113th, however what’s more annoying is that an uncertified lap of mine would have put me around 80th. I’m very impressed by this car and how it tackled the technical short tracks.

The car has very impressive acceleration not just out of the box but also out f the turns. You have the power available instantly and it’s very controllable. However place the power down to early and it’s not always the same story (picture above). For your short spurts then this car is great but lose your focus and it will let you know.

The paint for me is understated but well executed. The logos are nicely made and the red suits this car very nicely. The yellow lining around the black section on the hood is smoothly finished and the small logos in yellow stand out on the black background.

had time for two online races with this car here’s how they went.First up was road Atlanta club. I instantly knew this was too much of a power track for this car and therefore I had to hit the turns perfectly to get the best run out possible or else suffer the shame of defeat.I took off getting into turn 1 in the lead thanks to the cars acceleration. I manage to hold this all the way along the long bend as the battles behind me got very heated not just on the track. Coming out of the chicane I manage to get a great exit and lead into lap 2. However the ca behind was gaining and fast. I put my head down and pushed the car as well as I could. Going round the bend on lap 3 he’s right behind me and pulls out to go up the inside of the chicane. I’m having none of it and move my car across (not Vettel style) to block him off. He yields and I hold the line. He however gets a great run off the last few bends and is right in my slipstream going round the final bend. He takes the lead into turn 1 only to run off at the chicane at the brow of the hill. I jump back into first and manage to hold it for the rest of what was an epic race. Congratulations are shared at the end and I go get a well earned drink after a brilliant race.Surely the second race couldn’t live up to this.

The track was Iberian full. I start at the back and sit back through turn 1 in fear of being taken out. Going over the hill 2 cars hit into each other mid-air dropping them to the back of the field. I keep going but the front two cars are gone leaving me to battle for third. I pull clear on lap 3 and finish on the bottom step of the podium knowing that’s the best I could possibly do.

Overall this is a must have car. For short technical tracks it’s very very good and I expect someone with more talent then me would easily put this car in the top 20 around tracks like Ladera short. The most impressive thing to me about this car is how easy it is to drive and just how hard you can push it without it snapping back at you. This therefore is another great Tweaky car and a must have short track car for anyone’s garage.

The C425 Subaru Legacy is quite capable of landing you the podium finishes you are looking for in the Forza Motorsports 3 online hoppers. The key was the Digmans ability to get great handling out of this car, and yet allow the Legacy to hit high top end speeds.

Whether your a collector of great paints, or looking for an awesome car to run in C Class, don’t let the Tweaky Tuned C425 05 Subaru Legacy GT pass you by.

Congrats to BuzzDogg and the design which won Honorable Mention in Forza Motorsports 3 T10’s Fantasy Livery Competion. You can pick up the paint for FREE in the Tweaky Tuned storefront.

The guys here spent a nice amount of time testing the tune. And and the end Dig delivered a tune that handled brilliantly with the Microsoft Controller or Microsoft Wheel.

Tweaky recommended racing circuits: Mugello Short , Silverstone

2005 HP Computers Subaru Impreza WRX STi

After countless requests, I am pleased to announce that the HP Computers C425 Subaru Impreza WRX Sti is here. After endless test hours tweaking, and uncounted layers applied to the paint the results speak for themselves. The WRX is the complete package that not only looks the part, but more importantly drives the part.

The tune works well on Medium to Long tracks, and is quite a joyful driving experience. The Subaru Impreza WRX Sti is a strong runner in Forza 3, and Dig it909 tweaked this C Class Suby until he squeezed every last bit of performance out of the car in C Class.

Grab yours today at the Forza Motorsports 3 Tweaky Tuned storefront ! If your looking for a nice circuit to try her out on, make a stop at Suzuka West Circuit or Motegi East ! The Dig Man ran a 1:24:233 at Suzuki West during testing good enough for a ranking of # 125 on the Forza Motorsports 3 Leaderboards.

If you want to get out of Japan, then hit the Nurburgring GP Short Circuit Mr Dig again was very pleased with this C425 Subaru grabbing an overall leaderboard rank of #105.

Give A Class a break Forza racers and pick up this C Class pocket rocket and give it a blast !

Check out the Forza Motorsports 3 Tweaky Tuned R2 Class Opel Astra V8 which can be found in the Tweaky Tuned storefront on FM3. If your a seasoned veteran of Nurburgring Nordschleife you will feel so right in the cockpit of the Astra V8. If Nurburgring is new to you or your at a beginner level this tune will still be suited for you. The tuning setup is practically accident proof, and glues you to the road.

Before the release of the Mosler, I ran a 6:37.781 #338 overall with MS Wheel (TCS ABS On). Its a terrific non leaderboard alternative with the Microsoft wheel or controller. GP rakete mikey really smoked up The Ring in the Astra grabbing a Top 70 position on the Forza Motorsports 3 leaderboards.

Either way we hope you enjoy the free tune, whether your a Ringer or progressing along in the Forza Motorsports 3 season play, your all set !

If your in the market for a nice Forza Paint for the Opel Astra V8 check out the Nurburgring specific paint located in RCB Tarbouif90 Forza 3 storefront. Search the Forza design storefront. Heres a shortcut to this sweet paint: Main Menu Storefront > Buy Design > Make Opel Model #5 Opel Astra V8 > manual keyword > Nurburgring

If Le Mans is your thing, have a look at this ” knock your socks off ” #21 Opel Racing Sirius Radio splat by bageling. Main Menu Storefront > Buy Design > Make Opel Model #5 Opel Astra V8 > manual keyword > Le Mans
